Lunch
Hey folks!
I’m safely back from yet another successful adventure in China, this time in Changsha, Hunan Province. I was invited by the Konfucius Institute to come as audience for the Hanyu Qiao 2009 competition. It was an excellent trip, got to see and do a lot of things and people I probably wouldn’t have by myself – so a HUGE thank you to hanban.org and the Konfucius institute, and also to Air China for that lovely birthday treatment…! And of course, thanks all you lovely kids from around the world sharing your life and thoughts and stuff with me. Incoming Facebook server crash I guess…
Anyway, today’s my birthday, wee, turning 22 and all of a sudden I feel a tad bit old – now the numbers don’t matter anymore. I guess “thirty” is the next big one… Going out with my folks to my favourite restaurant downtown and then we’ll see what the evening offers.
Soon there will be some artsy photos from the California tour coming up, then we’ll possibly see some chill ones, and after that I will start editing my 14 GB of lovely images from my recent China trip. Until then, here’s what I had for lunch.
